Bangalore University Merit List 2012


Bangalore University has released the Provisional Merit List For Supernumerary Quota Centralised Admission to Post Graduate Courses - 2012. Supernumerary Modified Rank List can be seen by students on the official website of Bangalore University. Supernumerary Quota Is Applicable Only For Students Who Have Studied 7 Years In Karnataka And Have Graduated From Bangalore University (Note: Defence Quota, Kashmiri Migrants, Transgender Quota Is Exempted From This Rule).

Bangalore University is located in the Garden City of Bangalore aptly hailed as the "I.T. Capital of India", was established in July 1964 as an off shoot of the University of Mysore, primarily to include institutions of higher learning located in the metropolitan city of Bangalore and the districts of Bangalore, Kolar and Tumkur, which eventually became a separate university. Initially, the two premier colleges of the city, the Central College (CC) and the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) formed the nucleus of Bangalore University. The University has also established Gandhi Bhavan, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Study and Research Centre, and Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive policy and also has established schools of Biological Sciences, Social Sciences and Business Studies.

CTET 2012 Admit Card Download

STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF CTET

All questions in CTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET.
  • (i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
